Main entrance gates to the Alhambra<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Alhambra complex has several historic gates and modern entrances, but not all of them are used in the same way today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gate of the Pomegranates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It connects the centre of Granada with the Alhambra forest<\/strong>. It was built in the 16th century and is a picturesque route for those walking up from the city, although it is not the main one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where to enter the Alhambra: recommended access for visitors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you have reserved your ticket, the entrance you should use is the Access Pavilion. From there, you can easily reach the different areas of the monumental complex: the Alcazaba, the Generalife and the Nasrid Palaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This entrance is the most convenient and the only one that allows you to organise your visit time effectively<\/strong>, especially if you take a private tour of the Alhambra<\/a> or if your ticket includes the Nasrid Palaces, where time control is strict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where is the entrance to the Nasrid Palaces?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Access to the Nasrid Palaces is independent<\/strong> within the Alhambra complex. Once you have passed through the Access Pavilion, you should head towards the central area of the complex<\/strong>, where you will find the signposted entrance to the Palaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is important to remember that access to the Nasrid Palaces is only permitted during the time slot indicated on your ticket. If you arrive late, you will not be able to enter. Therefore, it is recommended that you be in the queue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
