For those who are unable to travel or prefer a more convenient way to get to the Alhambra, you can take the bus. Granada has several bus lines that will take you directly to the monument.

  • Line C30. It is the most used, its exit is located in Plaza Nueva and takes you directly to the Alhambra ticket office, at its last stop “Alhambra – Generalife 2”.
  • Line C32. It connects the Alhambra with the Albaicín neighborhood, so be careful not to miss the “Alhambra – Generalife 2” stop.

Access to the Alhambra from the center with private vehicles is not permitted. Therefore, you must enter via the Sierra Highway or the A-44 Motorway or via the ring road towards Ronda Sur following the signs to get to the Alhambra.

To park near the Alhambra we found some difficulties, so you will have to Park in the nearest parking space at the Puerta de las GranadasThis parking lot has limited spaces. Another option is El Mirador de San Nicolás, from which you'll have to walk for several minutes.
